Civil War Patriots

Capt. A. F. Jones

Capt. A. F. Jones of Coudersport took another company of volunteers from the county, being but three weeks in recruiting it.  From Harrison: R. L. Burnside, 3rd Lieut.; J. W. Stevens, 2nd Corporal; John Wetherill, L. D. Williams, Ira Baxter, Geo. W. Stevens, Barber Phillips, Oliver W. Olney, Wm. F. Stone, Wm. Hubbard, and Peter Simmons.  The latter was rejected. Zalmon F. Robinson enlisted from Allegheny Township.
